Executive Committee

Unitpool's Executive Management team are all "ex-airline" professionals, each having held various managerial positions from commercial, to operations, to finance, with some of the world's most reputable airlines, as well as industry providers, such as global ground handler Swissport.  

They know and understand the industry well, and can relate to the many challenges facing the airlines today, and are especially aware of the impact that a ULD shortage can have on an airline's operation.

It's an "open-door" policy with the team and the customers.  Open communication keeps the operation running smoothly and allows for quick resolve, when challenges do occur!

Chief Executive Officer - David Harman

David Harman, born 1962 in England, married with 2 children.  His 25 years of experience in the airline industry, the last 18 of which have been management roles, are spread across a variety of disciplines.  Immediately prior to joining Unitpool David was Vice President of Global Cargo Operations and Development at Swissport after a successful two years of line responsibility as VP Cargo Europe, Africa and Middle East.  David moved to Swissport from Swissair Cargo, where he’d managed the UK and Ireland as Country Manager and then moved to Head Office to manage the implementation of a revenue management system and to take control of the distribution and purchasing of contracted capacity.

Chief Financial Officer - Andreas Ernst (Andy)

Andreas graduated from the faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of Zurich in Autumn 2002, with a Bachelor in Applied Economics. While working on his degree, he joined the finance department of Swissport International, where he held various positions over a six-year period, including CFO Asia, Middle East and Africa. After two years in the corporate administration and finance division of Holcim, a multinational producer of cement, aggregates and ready mixed concrete, Andreas joined Unitpool on February 1st, 2008.

Strategic Relations Director - Daniel Sudan (Dani)

Dani is one of the founding members of Unitpool.  He started his career in aviation with Swissair, holding various operations positions.  It is when he transferred to the Swiss airline's cargo division that he became involved with ULD management, acting as delegate in IATA committees.  He is our resident ULD technical expert.

Commercial Director - Guadalupe Cordoba (Lou)

Lou's experience in transportation is extensive.  Her early days were spent in Canada handling commercial activities for a sea freight agency.  In 1998 she switched to airfreight with SwissCargo leading the revenue management team, later moved Swissport International as Global Key Account Manager, prior to joining Unitpool's management team.

Operations Director - Manoj Menon

Manoj joined the Unitpool management team in early 2006. He has over two decades of experience in Airline Ground Handling holding various positions, the last one prior to joining Unitpool being with Emirates Airline managing their fast growing ULD fleet.  During his tenure with Emirates, Manoj was a member of the IATA ULD User Group Executive Committee.
